REACHOUT.INI SETTINGS
(Applies to ReachOut Versions 4.X / 5.X)
STAC FAX 8603 (05-25-1995)
-----------------------------------------------------------------
The REACHOUT.INI found in the Windows directory contains entries
that ReachOut uses to establish parameters. These settings
contain either characters or numbers that hold the last settings
used by ReachOut from itÆs different menu and screen selections.
Some of the entries can be changed using any text editor that do
not get set by any of ReachOut's menus or screens. Caution should
be used when editing this document as incorrect or opposing
settings may cause ReachOut to fail. This document contains a
listing of entries for ReachOut vers. 4.X and 5.X, entries
invalid for ver. 4.X are indicated by a * , entries invalid for
ver. 5.X are indicated by a ^. In the listing below, the
notations meanings are:
0 means No, False, or Off 1 or -1 means Yes,True, or On
string means any valid string X means any valid integer number
In the REACHOUT.INI any negative numbers where a 0/1 is indicated
is interpreted as a 1.
A -32768 number found in the REACHOUT.INI indicates a maximized
window setting.
Entries that must be inserted or changed manually are indicated
by a ++.

The following sections will appear as different connection types
are chosen. These parameters have the same meanings as described
in the [Communications] section above. They are put into that
section when the specific connection type is switched to. This
makes it easier to switch between different connection types
without needing to remember all of the parameters. Not all
entries may be present in your REACHOUT.INI as certian settings
apply only to certian connection types (ie. LANAdapter= will only
appear if configured for Netbios).
